Tahini is a major winner in my book. Good tahini, that is. It’s made from 100% ground sesame seeds and most commonly used as a key ingredient in hummus. Sesame seeds are high in protein, calcium, B Vitamins, vitamin E and magnesium. For this side, it adds a nutty richness that goes really well with just about anything. Adding a handful of torn fresh herbs really elevates the flavor, and makes the dish a bit less, well—beige. : ) All for fresh herbs over here! (See notes below for our favorite tahini brands)
